Welcome to the 2024 Crimson Lake Trail Run!
This annual event is a fun event for runners of all ages and abilities. There are three races: a 3K event ideal for families and children; a 10K event for all ages; and a 20K event for all ages. The run promotes an active lifestyle, and an appreciation of our natural spaces. It’s a non-profit event, and any funds raised go toward the maintenance and development of the trail system at Crimson Lake.
The trail run is traditionally set for the third Saturday of August every year. We encourage runners of all ages to join us for a fun trail run at beautiful Crimson Lake Provincial Park near Rocky Mountain House.

• 9:00 a.m. - 20k starts
• 9:45 a.m. - 3k starts
• 10:30 a.m. - 10k starts
Please arrive at the site for check-in 30-45 minutes before your race.
Online registration closes at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, August 16.
We will offer a limited number of in-person registrations on Saturday morning. The cut-off will be 1 hour before race time for each distance.
